Better World Framework Program Sub Committee of Sri Lanka Scout Association conducted in person workshops on 11th December 2022 at National Headquarters of SLSA from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm.
110 District badge examiners from 27 Districts for Tide Turners Plastic Challenge, Champions for Nature Challenge, Scouts go solar Challenge and Dialogue for Peace badge were participated in the above said program.
The key note speech of the event was based on Sustainable Development Goal No 3; Good Health and Well-being and Dr. Ranjith Batuwanthudawe, Consultant Community physician and Director Health Promotion Bureau was the keynote speaker. The key note speech was based on World AIDS Day Celebrations and the event was supported by AIDS Foundation of Lanka
Hilton Hotel – Colombo
A HIV/AIDS Awareness programme was held at Hilton hotel – Colombo for their staff on 6 th December 2022. The programme was conducted by Chairperson Dr.Sujatha Samarakoon.
World AIDS Day Event – Heart to Heart Organization
In association with NSACP, Heart to heart organization held a programme to celebrate World AIDS Day 2022.The AIDS Foundation of Lanka sponsored refreshments at the event.
The banner created by AFL for World AIDS Day is being displayed in Colombo Muncipal Council and Bank Of Ceylon, Borella Branch.
