A Memorable Event by AIDS Foundation Lanka

In a dedicated effort to foster knowledge and empower individuals, the AIDS Foundation Lanka
curated a remarkable event on 7th March 2024 at Boralasgamuwa.This gathering, designed to
celebrate the essence of women, attracted a diverse and enthusiastic crowd eager to engage in
enlightening discussions.
The event buzzed with energy and enthusiasm as attendees, representing diverse backgrounds,
demonstrated a shared commitment to understanding and promoting overall well-being. Their
active participation contributed to the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of the celebration. Dr.
Samarakoon’s presentation delved into crucial aspects of women’s health, maternal and childcare,
and the significance of comprehensive sexuality education.
Dr. Sujatha Samarakoon’s lecture went beyond being merely informative; it evolved into a
